Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Attend our open church service every Friday at 12:30 p.m. on the front lawn or indoors (in the multi-faith chapel) of the Fred Victor / Toronto Christian Resource Centre building at 40 Oak Street (location depending on the weather). People of all faiths, cultures and orientation are welcome.

  • Discover free events and activities on our Updates page.

  • Chat with Angie Hocking, our Community Minister, located at 40 Oak Street. Visit, call, or email!

  • Donate to support the Regent Park Community Ministry and benefit Regent Park folks who are experiencing poverty, oppression and marginalization.

  • "This ministry means a lot to me. I know I always have a place to go to be heard and cared for when I need it."

    Doug, Community Member

  • "I live in Regent Park, and honestly, in the situation we are stuck in, it feels like we are yelling into a void. No one seems to care. But this ministry cares. This is everything to us."

Janice, A Displaced Regent Park Tenant

  • "This ministry gets me out of my apartment every week, which is a big deal because I can feel very lonely there. I think this ministry is important because it gives me a space to be accepted and loved - to know someone is waiting for me and wants to see me."

Did You Know?

The Regent Park Community Ministry office is located in the Fred Victor / Toronto Christian Resource Centre (CRC) building at 40 Oak Street, which is built where the Regent Park United Church used to stand. The United Church donated the land to benefit Regent Park and created our mobile faith community so that we could truly be present for Regent Park residents and groups in a direct way.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Regent Park Community Ministry acknowledges that the land that we work on has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to share this land.
