Faithfulness Through Praxis

Join us for 5 sessions in May, as we delve into some of the essential conversations to getting us aware and engaged into meaningful and transformative action.

All are welcomed! There will be Christian theological reflection throughout the series. We will be covering things: like an overview of the state of homelessness, engaging with folks experiencing crisis, reflection and conversation around harm reduction, how to advocate for people (both individually, and using our collective power), and how to get involved locally in a meaningful way.

Dinner will be served every week. The sessions will be held in St. Luke’s United Church, which is at the corner of Sherbourne and Carlton.

We are limiting the amount of participants to 40, so you need to reserve your spot! You can come as an individual, or register a group from your faith congregation. To register, please email Angie at ahocking@united-church.ca

We hope to see you there!!

For All Saints Sherbourne, St. Bart’s, and St. Simon St. Peter, we will have a special conversation group to accompany the program, to explore the content more and also connect to explore new ways of being in the neighbourhood together! Details here:
