Volunteers needed!

Regent Park Community Ministry would like to give a gift to all tenants that live upstairs in the 40 Oak building! (That’s about 87 units). Many of the tenants living here in supportive housing have experienced homelessness and/or many difficult situations due to the ongoing oppression that poverty causes. Distributing small gifts to everyone is a great way to remind all tenants in this building that they are not alone.

A small team of volunteers is needed right now to brainstorm gift ideas, purchase, and deliver the gifts (the cost will be covered by RPCM). If you have time to offer in early December, please get in touch with Angie ASAP at ahocking@united-church.ca
